My name is Scott. Welcome to my channel!
I have spent the last 20+ years learning about all things barbecue. 15 of those years I have spent developing my knowledge & skills with smoking meats.
I have developed a deep passion for all things BBQ. Whether it be smoking, grilling, or even cooking over an open fire. I love & do them all as often as I can.
I have many influencers. Some are found on YouTube & others in books. My rule, if I see a BBQ book or channel/show I read/watch it & learn all I can.
I'm currently up to my 4th offset. I use an offset I got from Franklin BBQ Pits. It took around two years of waiting, but I got it & have loved using it.
The inspiration & purpose of my channel is to help people learn to consider their evelation, climate, & overall environment when cooking BBQ. Cooking outdoors means all the elements will have an impact. It took me years to figure this out, & once I did I've been creating magic with BBQ ever since!
