About UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Coalition

Welcome to the Youtube channel of UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES; an international humanities-driven, transdisciplinary coalition for action in sustainability science based in UNESCO’s Management of Social Transformation Programme (MOST). BRIDGES promotes exemplary projects connecting humanities and social sciences disciplines with natural sciences, applied scientific fields and the arts. The coalition also promotes co-production between this broader and more inclusive configuration of academic knowledge communities and non-academic stakeholders from society through co-designed case studies focused on achieving sustainable environments and societies. Projects developed under BRIDGES' guidance, or through collaborations led by member organizations, will demonstrate innovative approaches to sustainability science with a focus on transdisciplinary site-based work locally, regionally and nationally. BRIDGES works in parallel with other UNESCO programmes and UN-affiliated scientific councils.
