About Powerless Balc
When Energy Giant Alliant Energy told Jeff Balcom he would have to pay 747.00 for a meter pole or they would disconnect him, that did not make sense. Why would Jeff Balcom pay for infrastructure to the product being sold. Jeff strapped the pole to the tractor and called it good. Jeff Balcom emailed several representative and contacted the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission in which a complex bunch of legal paragraphs showing this tariff and that sided with the power company. Finally Alliant Energy gave an ultimatum to Jeff Balcom to get the pole at 747.00 or they would disconnect him. He chose disconnection to the Monopoly Power Company. (In Minnesota we can not choose providers) therefore leaving him no option but to become "Powerless Balc" .....
