About Max-Planck-Institut Magdeburg

The Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg is the first engineering institute established by the Max Planck Society in 1996. It performs an important bridging function between fundamental research and industrial application. The research focuses on the investigation and development of new approaches for the synthesis, analysis and control of highly complex processes in biotechnology, chemical production, and energy conversion.
