About The Sick Historian

Every disease has a story. Every cure has a cost. The Sick Historian reopens the darkest cases in medical history: the factory girls poisoned by radioactive paint, the doctor mocked for washing his hands, the cook who spread typhoid and refused to stop. True stories of real patients, real doctors, and the diseases that changed medicine. Each documentary is an investigation. One person, followed through newspaper archives, court records, and hospital notes. Every claim is sourced, key documents appear on screen, and where the records disagree, the video says so. New medical history documentaries every week: forgotten epidemics, Victorian medicine, deadly cures, unethical experiments, and patient cases that rewrote modern medicine. Nothing here is medical advice. These are stories from the history of medicine, told for education.
